Comprehensive Modeling Workshop
This two-day workshop is taught by well-known fashion model Dalarna.
The first day is a comprehensive modeling workshop covering all aspects of fashion modeling:
- Runway and Print
- An understanding of editorial, advertising and catalog modeling.
- Fit and body part modeling.
- Your shoe bag and accessories – Be prepared!
- Understanding hair and make-up
- Portfolio development and testing with photographers
- Casting tips
- Finding the right Agency
- and more…
Day two is on camera experience in the LA Workshops Studio with fashion photographer Doug Myers. Students will receive their photographs on disc.
Participants can register for both days, or each day separately. Class size is limited to 8 students.
Day One (Saturday)
- 9 am - 9:30 am: Coffee, snacks and introductions
- 9:30 am – 1 pm: Workshop and Q&A with Dalarna
- 1 pm – 2 pm: Lunch (provided)
- 2 pm – 6 pm: Runway modeling coaching. Movement, posing and expression for photo shoots.
Day Two (Sunday)
- 10 am – 10:30 am: Morning coffee, snacks, and informal with Dalarna.
Meet Photographer Doug Myers - 10:30 am – 1 pm: Individual on camera experience with fashion photographer Doug Myers. Hair and make-up will be provided and each participant will be given advice as to their best looks with hair and make-up tips from Dalarna and a professional make-up artist.
- 1 pm – 2 pm: Lunch (provided)
