Brad Hines
Living in Los Angeles it seems only natural that photographer Brad Hines would fall into shooting celebrities. After graduating from The Art Center College of Design in Pasadena California Brad set off to make his mark in photography.
Armed with his knowledge of lighting, composition, and his ability to problem solve on the fly, he did just that.
Brad has won several Society of Publication Design Awards shooting for clients such as G.Q., Rolling Stone, Maxim and American Airlines, to name just a few.
Shooting on location Brad has to be ready for anything that the assignment might throw at him. Whether it is a tight schedule, small budget, or bad location he works it out to get the best image possible.
A few random facts about Brad…
- Brad waited patiently for the school bus in the 70’s as the cars lined up for blocks to get gas…
- He went to The Art Center College of Design in the 90’s as Bush (the first one) kicked Iraq’s butt (the first time)…
- He made a few bucks when the whole dot com thing was fashionable. After that he lost himself rebuilding his house in the hills of Los Angeles…
- He prefers a Cadillac margarita on the rocks with salt to a beer…
- And he really misses his dog Sade…
- Today Brad is once again fixated on photography 24/7 and its transformation in the past few years. He still asks his assistants for film while shooting, even though he hasn’t shot a roll in a long time. He loves removing trees from peoples heads because he can and looks forward to getting the next stamp in his passport since there are still a couple of empty pages…
